Why Organic

Dr. Jerry Cheng, attending pediatric oncologist at Kaiser Permanente, and Savannah’s primary oncologist throughout her battle, has joined our Board with the goal of helping to complete Savannah’s dream of providing a healthier future for all children, and improving the lives of those that face the nightmare of pediatric cancer. Dr. Cheng has put together an overview of some preliminary information he has come across regarding the “Emerging Role of Pesticides in Childhood Cancer,” for us to consider. While definitive proof may still be elusive, he makes the point that childhood cancer rates have actually risen, as has the use of commercial pesticides, and that should make us all consider an organic lifestyle for ourselves and our families.
